Dear Dr. Davies,
I recently visited Llanelly House . I had an excellent guided tour by Rhys who told me that you are researching previous owners of the house – the Stepneys and the Chambers. I am a descendant of Samuel Chambers (half) brother of the William Chambers who inherited Llanelly House. I would be very interested in reading your publication on the subject of these persons and would be grateful if you could let me know how and when I might obtain a copy.
Many thanks.
Hello Jenny, good to hear from you, and I’m glad you enjoyed your tour. However, my book on the Stepney family (with a lengthy chapter on the Chamberses) is still a couple of years or so away from publication. Updates, etc, will be on my website at jddavies.com, which also has a contact page where you can get in touch with me more directly. Best, David Davies
