Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to announce on behalf of The Lowy Institute and the Sea Power Centre – Australia the creation of a series of debates on Australia’s role as a maritime nation, and maritime power. This partnership has identified that the Australian Government has begun to more strongly express their recognition of the importance of Australian maritime strategy beyond purely naval affairs however as of yet there has not developed a “maritime school of strategic thought for Australia”.
